This day is especially set aside to honor all of our mothers. Truly, godly mothers are a great gift from God. The world needs more ladies who will hold true to the principles of the Word of God and teach them to the next generation. The principles from the Work of God are to be not only taught but also to be illustrated in the lives of each mother. Mom, no one can take your place. Each day you must wholly commit yourself to the will of God. Thank you mother for your sacrifice and dedication.
In just two weeks we will be having our teen missions trip to
Guyana, South America. We will be spending time with one of our missionaries, Dean Runyon. The teens will be singing, working, teaching, preaching, etc. Our teens have worked hard in preparing and planning for the trip. It has been quite an effort to raise the needed funds for the trip and we are still short in this endeavor. Next Sunday morning we will be taking an offering after each service to help in finishing the costs for this trip. I believe this is money well spent on not only assisting our missionary but exposing our teens to the need to give their lives to the cause of Christ. I hope you will give and make this lifetime investment. April and I are so clad to be giving for the next generation. Thank you in advance for being such a caring church.
