It is so hard to believe that this is the last Sunday of 2008.  God has truly blessed us with a tremendous year.  We have seen souls saved, baptized and join the church.  We have also had some of our loved ones head home to heaven.  Through it all, God has been good.  Here are a few highlights of the year:
January 6 - Kicked off our theme for the year, “To Live Is Christ.”
February 17-20  - Great Bible Conference highlighted by Dr. Shelton Smith
March 16 - Groundbreaking Sunday!
April 20 - Baptist History Sunday
May 26 - Group of men go with me to help Missionary Jerry Kinman in Guatemala
June 8-11 - Great Vacation Bible School
July 14-21 - Teens make an impact with their missions trip to the Bahamas
August 31-September 6 - Everybody survived “No TV Week”
October 19 - Passionate “Missions Day” with Missionary TJ Tilley
November 2-5 - Dynamic revival with Evangelist Lou Rossi
November 7 - Celebrated BBC’s 30th birthday
 These are just some highlights of a great year.  I could not begin to list every highlight.  It is good for us to “count our blessings.” 
 Thank you for all your support and encouragement shown to my family and I this year.  As you reflect on the year, be sure to thank the Lord for the great things He has done.  From April, Carissa, Autumn, Boaz and me - Happy New Year!
