    n     Blessed are they which do hunger & thirst after righteousness…
    n     What Hunger & Thirst After Righteousness Does Not Mean
    n     Only Imputed Righteousness
    n     Going to the Source Only When We are Ready
    n     Working Hard to Gain Our Own Righteousness
    n     Some Spiritual Journey
    n     What Does Hunger & Thirst After Righteousness Mean?
    n     Hunger (Peinao) Means to Suffer Deep Desire for Food
    n     Thirst (Dipsao) Means Long Earnestly for Liquid
    n     Physical Life Depends on These; Without Them Death is Certain
    n     These are Continuous Action Verbs
    n     Spiritual Life Depends on Righteousness in the Same Way
    n     Righteousness (Dikaiosyne) Means What is Right & Just
    n     Righteousness is Conforming to God’s Will
    n     Conforming to God’s Will is Progressive
    n     The Hungry Christian Continually Seeks Righteousness-Divine Discontent (Ps 17:15)
    n     The Hungry Christian Knows that If He Wants to Do Right, He Can (1 Cor 10:13 & Phil 4:13)
    n     How Will We Know When We are Hungering and Thirsting?
    n     When We are Not Satisfied With Ourselves
    n     When External Things No Longer fully Satisfy Us
    n     When We Have an Appetite for the Word of God (Jer 15:16)
    n     When Hunger & Thirst is Unconditional
    n     What is the Result of Hungering and Thirsting?
    n     They shall be filled
    n     Filled is the Word Used for Foddering Up an Animal
    n     Paradox: Satisfied, But Never Satisfied
    n     Satisfied Does Not Mean Once-For-All
             Blessed are the merciful
             What Merciful Does Not Mean
             Protecting Oneself From Any Involvement
             Not Negative Action
             Not Sympathy Without Action
             Not Satisfying the Conscience With Token Duty
             Not Contingent Mercy
             No Mercy Is Given For Merit
             Not Sentimentality That Excuses Sin
             What Does Merciful Mean?
             Merciful Means Being a Benefit to Someone
             Mercy (chesed) Means to Rescue the Miserable
             Get Inside the Other Person’s Skin
             Sympathy & Compassion in Action Toward Anyone in Need
             The Merciful Are Givers Not Takers
             The Merciful Are Not Above Anyone, But Stoop To Help
             Mercy Is Meeting The Need, Not Just Feeling It
             God Is The Source Of Mercy (Ex 34:6)
             How Does Mercy Relate To Forgiveness & Love?
             Mercy Is Bigger Than Forgiveness (Titus 3:5)
             Forgiveness Flows From The Fountain of Mercy (Lam 3:22)
             Love is Bigger Than Mercy (Eph 2:4)
             Mercy Presumes There Is a Problem
             Love Can Act When There Is No Problem

    u Mourn-Express Grief for the Dead
    u Three Kinds of Mourning:
    u Normal & Proper Mourning
    u General Sorrow
    u The Feelings From the Pressures & Trials of Life
    u The Psalmist Shed Tears of Loneliness
    u Abraham Wept When His Wife Died

    u This One is the Holy Spirit (Jn 14:16)
    u No Comfort Can Compare to God’s Comfort
