Blessings Promised Are Not For All Believers, But For Those Who Live in Close Fellowship With God

I will say-Personal Public Faith

Refuge (mahseh)-Crag or Cave

Fortress (mesudah)-High Tower or Rock

In him will I trust-Safety is In the Lord

God’s Servants Are Immortal Until Their Work is Done (Rom 8:28-39)

The Hidden Life of Worship and Communion Makes Possible the Public Life of Obedience and Service

Names of God Encourage Us to Trust:

The most High(Elyon)-Supreme

The Almighty (Shaddai)-All Sufficient

LORD (Jehovah)-Covenant Keeping God

God (Elohim)-Powerful

The Second Speaker (vs 3-4)

Deliver thee-Saved From Premature Danger

Snare of the fowler-Net of the Bird Catcher; Sudden Destruction

Noisome-Brings Devastation; Malicious Speech

Pestilence-Disease; Plague; God’s Judgment

This Promise Protects:

Both The Natural & Spiritual Life

Cover-Make Inaccessible

Trust-Take Refuge

Truth-Faithfulness & Truthfulness

Shield-A Large Rectangular Covering for the Whole Body

Buckler-A Defensive Wall

Truth is a Most Effective Shield Against Any Enemy
