·        An evil spirit from the LORD troubled him-Worse Than Without The Holy Spirits Power
·        Evil (ra)-Means Bad, But Also is Translated Distressing, Harmful, Miserable, Sore, & Grievous
·        Troubled (baath)-To Fall Upon, Startle, Terrify; Sometimes Translated Frightened or Overwhelmed
·        What Are the Views About This Evil Spirit?
·        Saul Was Demon Possessed; Unlike God’s Character Toward His Children

·        Because Saul Gave Valuable Court Training to His Successor & Allowed David to Make Friends in Gov’t
·        Stood before him-Literally, Stood Before His Face; Entered Temporary Service
·        Loved him greatly-In a Short Period, David Was Well Liked
·        Became his armor-bearer-After Some Time, Saul Assigned Him a Sought After Role
·        Formal Asking of Jesse For Permanent Position in the Court
·        Played with his hand-Evil Spirits Can’t Stand Godly Music
·        Was refreshed-Literally, Became Wide; Found Relief
·        David’s Soothing Remedy for Saul’s Malady Was Simple Yet Effective
·        Though David Played, His Success Depended Upon The Spirit
