Farewell Speech                        1 Chronicles 28:1-21 
n     The Clarification
n     David assembled all-Anybody That Was Anybody
n     David the king stood up upon his feet-Respect For Those Assembled & The Topic
n     My brethren, and my people-Rank Had Not Swelled His Head
n     House of rest for the ark-Hearts Desire to Have the Ark in One Place (Ps 132:8)
n     For the footstool of our God-The Mercy Seat
n     Been a man of war, and hast shed blood-The Purpose to Which He Was Called (1 Chr 22:8)
n     Chose me-Elect of God (2 Tim 1:9)
n     David Traces the Call From the Tribe of Judah; the House of Jesse; of Himself; Lastly of Solomon
n     The Throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel-True Theocracy that God Wanted But Israel Rejected
n     Establish his kingdom for ever, if-Conditional
n     The Challenge
n     In the sight of all Israel-Gathered As Representatives
n     In the audience of our God-As Witness
n     Keep and seek-I Exhort You to Observe & Continually Follow All the Commands
n     That ye may possess-Keep
n     Israel’s Hope Must Be in God and Not in David
n     And thou, Solomon my son-Addressed Directly, with the Others as Witness
n     Know thou the God of thy father-Acknowledge and Recognize His Authority
n     Serve him with a perfect heart-Whole Hearted Devotion
n     With a willing mind-Undivided
n     The LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts-Omniscience (Gen 6:5)
n     If thou seek him, he will be found of thee-Conditional on Willingness to Make the First Move (Matt 7:7-8)
n     LORD hath chosen thee to build an house-Reminder to Be Faithful (Phil 4:19)
n     Be strong, and do it-Urging to Complete the Task

n     Gave to Solomon his son the pattern-Sketches or Plans
n     By weight-Heaviness
n     The LORD made me understand-Inspiration
