·        This Salutation is Significant for the Important Feature Lacking…The Prayer of Thanksgiving
·        The Salutation Reveals the Mood & Burden of Paul’s Heart
·        Grace be to you and peace-Christian Terms Only Understood In Christ
·        Grace Comes First & is Always the Basis for Peace (Rom 5:1)
·        From God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ-A Linked Source of the Blessing
·        Who gave himself for our sins-The Basic Essence of Love is to Give
·        Gave-Past Tense, Never to Be Repeated
·        Himself-The Greatest Gift is That of Self
·        For our sins-Atonement As the Sin Bearer
·        That he might deliver us-Literally Means: To Lift Up Out Of
·        From this present evil world-Present Satanic World System
·        According to the will of God and our Father–Christ Did Always the Will of the Father (Matt 26:39)
·        There are 2 Significant Words for Will
·        Thelema-The Determined Will
·        Boulomai-The Desire of the Affections
·        To whom be glory for ever and ever-Thoughts of God Always Bring Forth Praise
·        Denunciation
·        I marvel that ye are so soon removed-Astonished At the Quickness of the Transition
·        Called you into the grace of Christ-Paul Was Convinced Their Salvation Was Genuine
·        From him…unto another gospel-From A Person To A Position
·        First, The Message Was A Different Gospel
·        Unto another gospel. Which is not another-Two Different Adjectives
·        The First another (heteron) Means: Another of a Different Kind
·        The Second another (allo) Means: Another of the Same Kind
·        Second, The Message Cast Suspicion on the Real Gospel
·        Third, The Galatians Didn’t Realize They Were Being Deliberately Manipulated
·        But there be some that trouble you-Doesn’t Matter Who the Agitators Are!
·        Trouble (tarasso) Means: To Throw Into Confusion
·        Pervert the gospel-Means To Turn Around or Twist
·        But though-Hypothetical Warning
·        We-Paul, Barnabas, Antioch Christians
·        Or an angel from heaven-Holy Angel, Not a Fallen Angel
·        Preach any other gospel-The Standard of Judgment Must Be the Message
·        Let him be accursed (anathema)-Means Physical Death as well as Spiritual Separation in the Lake of Fire
·        As we said before, so say I now again-Repeated Warning
